Channeling my 2020 version of Judy Garland in this calligraphy piece, I couldn't help but think many how people can relate to this 1944 version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" this Christmas. ⁠ ⁠

Appearing in a film right around the time of World War II's Battle of the Bulge, many families and soliders were overwhelmed with feelings of separation, loss, and dashed hopes of being home for Christmas.⁠ ⁠ We all may be operating on plans E, F and G this year. And while some are suffering the loss of their packages, others are suffering the loss of loved ones. It has truly been an emotional year for all.⁠

⁠ Although taken under two VERY different contexts, I hope you find this song brings just as much comfort this Christmas as Garland offered to her audience in the 1940s.⁠
